SPF protection can be activated for any domain name hosted in a web hosting account on our cloud platform with only a few clicks. The feature is accessible in the Emails section of our state-of-the-art Hepsia Control Panel and all it takes to enable it is to select one of your domains from the drop-down list and enter the hostnames together with the IPv4 or IPv6 addresses of the mail servers which will be authorized to send messages from your email addresses. As an additional option you can even restrict the email messages to be sent from your domain name only when it includes our MX records, i.e. when our servers manage the email addresses for it, not a third-party supplier. This solution will provide you with the top level of protection, but it is not applicable in case only your website is on our servers while the e-mail addresses for the domain name are handled in a different place. Regardless, our SPF protection service will keep your emails safe from being used for spam and scam purposes.
SPF Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
The Hepsia hosting Control Panel, that is included with all our semi-dedicated servers, provides you with an incredibly user-friendly interface to enable the SPF protection service for any domain that you host in your new account. A couple of clicks in the Emails section of Hepsia will be enough for that and you'll only have to enter the hostname and the IP address of the mail server that will be permitted to send messages from your e-mail addresses. In case the email messages are taken care of by us and not by another supplier, you are able to increase the security level even more and benefit from an option for all the outgoing e-mails to be sent only if your domains use our MX records. This option will provide you with increased control and it'll eliminate any chance of someone forging your e-mail addresses with the objective of spamming or scamming people.
